Redmi Pad SE: Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its new tablet device – the Redmi Pad SE in China on Tuesday. Redmi’s tablet features an 11-inch display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset, and a massive 8,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.

Redmi Pad SE price, color options and availability in India

The Redmi Pad SE color options are Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray and Mint Green. The base 4GB variant is priced at €199 (Rs 18,000 approx), while the 6GB and 8GB variants are priced at €229 (Rs 20,800) and €249 (Rs 22,600 approx).

The release date of the Redmi Pad SE tablet is yet to be confirmed and the company has also not given any information about its launch in India.

Redmi Pad SE Specifications

Redmi’s new tablet features an 11-inch LCD screen, 90 Hz refresh rate, 400 nit peak brightness level, 180 Hz touch sampling rate, and TUV Rheinland low blue light certification.

The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. For additional storage needs, there is support for a microSD card slot. Redmi Pad SE runs on MIUI 14, which is built on Android 13 operating system. It has features like WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Pad SE has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front lens for video calls and selfies. The tablet is powered by a massive 8,000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging via the USB Type-C port. It is also equipped with four speakers and has Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res sound.

In related news, Xiaomi recently introduced a new addition to its Pad 6 series with the launch of the Pad 6 Max during an event in China. The latest Pad 6 series has a 14-inch LCD screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It is backed by a 10,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
